Penlee A defeated Holmans last night in the Top Team Final 3-0.
Roy gave us a flying start by winning the 2 wood singles. Then the triples came through with Mike, Nigel & Selby winning a close game and immediately after the rink game with David, Ray, Mick and Gerry won by a comfortable margin. At the time David Balow was tied in the 4 wood singles 18-18 and both Martin and Mark were 13-14 in the pairs.
Well done to everyone and good luck in the County Final, against the Group 4 winners, which will be played at Bickford Smith on Sunday 1st September at 9.30. If successful the Final will be played at Porthleven in the afternoon. I'll be thinking of you!!
As it stands the team will remain the same except Tony Stephens will play in the rink and Ray will move into the doubles.
