Race Night Thursday 12th Dec.

Race night was on the 12th December.

Proceeds went towards the Penlee Extension and a charity of the winners choice.

Thank you for all who attended. We raised £132. Andrew Edwards was overall winner.

Nancherrow Shield

Congratulations to David Foulds, Roy Sumner and super sub Jean Pellow (for David Balow) for winning the inaugural Nancherrow Shield held tonight at Penlee. In what turned out to be a close contest, 2 sides had 4 points each but the Marazion (& Penlee) trio won the shield on overall shot difference. Runners up were Bill Burnett, Alan Fowles and Tom Lapworth.

A message from Jenny Welch

Dear Martin

As from Friday 20th of September, I will  cease to be a member of Penlee Bowls club. Through you, I would like to thank Penlee Management and members for their friendship and companionship over the last fourteen odd years.

It is with a sad feeling that I'm leaving but I wish you all well for the future, if any of you are traveling up the M5 and want to stop off in Ledbury, Herefordshire you will be most welcome. at  17, Churchill Meadow, Ledbury, Hereford HR8 2DG. Phone number to follow. Keep an eye on the garden.
