Bowls Cornwall Group 1 Finals
Congratulations to Roy Sumner and Ray (Limpy) Jeffery for winning the Benevolent Pairs. Ray deputised for David Balow who unfortunately couldn't play.
Also congrats to me as I've managed to win the Secretary's Singles competition using the woods I bought from Keith Baker.
And finally well done to our Ladies in reaching the Top Team Final. We wish you all the best in the final.

Keith Baker - Sad news
Unfortunately Keith died earlier this afternoon. He had been suffering from pneumonia for a few days.

Hopefully this will be the last time this season but with the weather as it's been who knows.
These are the teams for the re-arranged games against Porthleven (17th July), Camborne (25th July) and Bickford Smith (6th August) and A team registered players competition on 11th August.

Outdoor Bowls Tour 2013
Someone (not mentioning any names - Ray Jeffery) had the idea of having an outdoor bowls tour next year. Before anything is done I would like to guage peoples views in how many would be interested. If it did happen it would be probably around middle of September 2013 and would be in the Torquay area. Maybe for 3-4 days. So if interested let Ray (Limpy) Jeffery know or myself.
